OCCUPATIONAL FIELDS AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Subsequent non-teaching occupational fields

Graduates can work in international or European administrative bodies or organizations, in the diplomatic service,  in international or transnational companies, or in lagal research and teaching. Graduates also have the chance to study on to take the "Staatsexamen".

Typical course types

Lecturs concerning German law are taken together with the German law students. These lectures are complemented by seminars on European law and comparative law in smaller groups of maimal 35 students.

General studies

General Studies account for 10 - 25% of the study programme. These courses train key competences for subsequent career fields. By building their own individual specialities, students are able to shape and amplify their academic profile.

Practical

The program includes an internship pf 14 weeks. This internship can be splitted into two internships (each at least four weeks) and done abroad if desired.

Study abroad

A year abroad during the 5th and 6the semester is a compulsery part of the program. Students can choose one of many universities the Universität Bremen or the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg has a ccoperation with for their stay abroad.

Sprachnachweis über schulische Leistungen
Ersatzweise können die Sprachkenntnisse durch schulische Leistungen im Fach Englisch nachgewiesen werden. Englisch muss als Leistungskurs in der Schule belegt worden sein oder in Englisch als Grundkurs beträgt der Notendurchschnitt der vier Kurshalbjahre mindestens 10 Punkte.
